KUK Lock-In Recap

Friday night and Saturday, June 18th & 19th the Children’s Ministry had its very first Lock-In for kids in 2nd grade thru 6th grade.  What an amazing night of ministry and fun we had!  There were over 150 kids in attendance and over 70 servants…  The kids “rotated” thru several fun areas including;

  • Wii sports games in 3 different rooms
  • Gladiator jousting and two inflatable jump houses
  • Ping Pong tables, Air Hockey and Foosball tables
  • Pictures with fun silly hats (see pictures on this web-site)
  • Video Scavenger Hunt
  • Fire pits with toasting marshmallows and making smores
  • Organized fun & silly games in Banquet Hall including “Minute to Win It” with M & M’s

The kids all had a blast and were very proud to wear their “Wii – Wisdom, Integrity & Influence” T-shirts!   After the movie at midnight, the kids were so exhausted that they went to sleep right away!  We have heard from many of the adult servants and they were so blessed to be a part of this incredible event!  We are planning another Lock-In in September and anticipate doubling the amount of kids we had.  These events are taking the place of our Kids Kamp which we will not be hosting this year.  So if you want to make a difference in the lives of our children, please consider signing up and serving in September!
